Sunday January 5

New church time today.
I think I will like it better.
Even though I like getting to church at 9 and getting home by noon.....I don't like being able to sleep in on a Sunday, and having to go to bed early on Saturday nights.....
I think 11 will be a perfect time.
It makes things a little harder with our primary room situation.
When we were the first ward in the building, we could set up the room how we wanted it.
But being the second ward, we have to either do it like they have it, or take the time to change it, while all the kids are filing in.
We will figure it out.
We do have a ton more kiddos than the other wards, so we have to bring in more chairs when we come anyway.
It was kinda chaos today.....
But it worked out.
Elsie went good to her new class.
I think she will like her new teacher, and her class is a good class.
And Porter got Elsie's old teacher as his teacher, so he already knew 'of' her. :)
I had a meeting right after church, so I got the kids home and settled in and left for my meeting.
When I got home, the kids had made cookies for me and had this cute little plate filled with blue-ish dyed cookies and had little notes.
"Love your four kiddos"
"Your a STAR Mom and Dad"
And "FYI It's your kind of milk" :)
(which is lactose free)
Cute kiddos.
The house was a disaster......but I thought they were so sweet to do it for me, I didn't complain.
Madi is not excited about school at all.
She has been having a rough day today, and I don't know if it is because of school......but she is a grump :(
She is really sore from working out, and has a little sore throat, but mostly, I think she just wishing she could stay home from school.
I, for one, will be happy to get back to a routine.....

One thing we would do with primary chairs.... ask the 9am ward to have their oldest boys class quickly set up the chairs to what your ward needs. Boys love to help and serve!... then we would pay it forward and after we were done, we would set up the chairs for the next ward... we tried to not make the arrangement too different, and it all worked out. One less thing to worry about.
