Happy Christmas Eve!
Wow, it came so quickly!
We (Mom and Dad) spent the morning finishing up Christmas gifts for the kiddos......
The kids watched Christmas movies and played together and helped clean up.
Then after lunch and showers, we headed to Winco to buy our Christmas dinner that we give away.
As we were driving there, we spotted a guy with a sign and a big dog.
Porter said "I bet his dog needs food too!"
So we decided that he would be the guy to get our Christmas dinner, along with food for his dog.
When they took it to him, Dad asked if he had a place to cook some food.
The guy says he lives in his van, but he does have a place he can cook.
So he was the one.
The smiles on my kids faces made me so proud.
Porter was so excited about helping him and his dog out.
Merry Christmas, right :)
Then we came home and we made our gingerbread train.
Sure turned out cute this year.
Porter wanted his own train car this year, instead of helping Dad out with the Engine.
They are all super cute and it was a super big mess, but so much fun.
Not any fighting during the whole time (of decorating, that is :).
Then after our dinner, we delivered our last figurine, baby Jesus, to our Nativity family.
Came home and opened some gifts.
They get to open their Christmas jammies, and they also get to open any other gift from under the tree.
Madi chose her gift from Elsie, which was a pretty glass doll.
Cassi chose a gift from Emmy, super cute slippers :)
And Porter chose the gift Cassi gave him.
It was a guitar just his size.
It is a really nice one that she actually found at the youth ranch.
Just perfect.
He is overly excited about it too, and is currently sleeping with it right now.
Pretty cute!
Then it was time to all cuddle on the couch and read the Nativity story from the bible.
It was Porters turn to hold the light.
It was a sweet and beautiful way to end the night.
I have a lot more way cute pictures I WILL post....
But I have a few other things to do tonight.
:)
