I would call today a successful day :)
I got stuff done this morning that needed to get done.
I went to the school and did Art Smart with Cassi's class, with Porter.
He wasn't too bad, so I told him he didn't have to take a nap, just relax.
He did that, while playing with Legos and I got more stuff done that really needed to get done.
None of that 'really needed to get done stuff' was cleaning the house though...
So when the girls got home, I begged them to help me out with some clean up.
A few moans and groans.....but not too bad.
When I picked Elsie up from school, one of her aides, Ms. Chris said maybe Elsie should take a nap, or relax because she was SO TIRED and she needed to rest for her program.
So she laid down on Madi's bed for about an hour, no sleep, but some good quiet rest.
Which is just what she needed.
Dad got a few hours off tonight because it was Elsie's Christmas music program.
We had dinner and Elsie, Cassi and I left about 45 minutes early so we could get good seats.
Elsie has been so excited about this program.
She even had a line to say, 'or scarves', and she did awesome.
I have it recorded, but it is on Dads phone, cause mine ran out of space.
And now he is gone back to the station, so I will add it later.
I added a cute little clip of one of the songs.
She did so great :)
So great!!!
A few weeks ago, one of her other aides came to me to talk about the program.
Concerned about what to do because they had the kids up on the risers.
She can stand on the risers fine, but would need something for support......
So dad did some welding and came up with a great little handle bar for her to have.
She even got to attach her bell to it, which worked perfect!
She was a happy girl and so much fun to watch.
I think she is pretty darn amazing :)
