Dad ended up getting a full shift of overtime today....so that's a good thing.

Except that made him gone today :(

This morning, Cassi and I had a mother/daughter brunch.

They had yummy treats and then afterwards, we painted fingernails.

Cass did a pretty good job on my nails :)

It was a fun time.

Then I took her with me to run a few errands.

I also took Madi today to buy her some new pants.

She had no pants to wear.....

Then the rest of the day was trying to get cleaning up done.

I have a mountain of laundry done....just needs to be sorted now.

Madi is working more on her fun YW project.

It is YW in Excellence on Wednesday night, so she is trying to get it all done by then.

It is almost done and I love how it looks.

After Porter had a nap, we invited to neighbor boys over....Max and Graham.

They are good kids and Porter plays well with them.

It will be fun to have these boys grow up together, along with Canon :)

We headed out the door to go get new books from The Youth Ranch, when we noticed that the neighbors were trying to round a cow up.

We got Bubbles cow in our other pasture yesterday, and today they tried to get our other neighbors(Doug) cow in with Bubbles, hoping maybe they won't keep trying to escape to hang out with each other if they are in the same pen.

And out field needs to be eaten down, so we tried to get them together.

Well, it didn't go so smoothly.

We had Bubbles and Eldon, Billy and Vern (the new neighbors), Lynn and Doug, me and Cassi and the neighbors behind Billy and Vern....blocking so the cow didn't run that way.

It took a while....but we had a truck, 4 wheeler....and lots of bodies and we got him moved right in there.

Man, those stubborn cows!

I will be a pro cow wrangler before long :)

We headed out and got to the Youth Ranch with just 5 minutes before they closed.....

It worked out pretty good I think.
