It turned out to be a pretty fun day today :)

It was Porters party at 1:00, and we started the day off with nothing ready.....

So Em and I got everything put together.....and it all worked out good!

We picked up the girls from school just before lunch, because they wanted to be a part of it too.

They were actually really helpful, but it would have been WAY better if they didn't fight with each other!

They were good with the little ones, though....

We had a Lego building 'competition'.

Not really a competition....but just seeing what they could create.

They colored their own Lego men, and we played a game where you pick Legos up with a straw.

Then it was piñata time.

I made the piñata this morning out of a diaper box and Styrofoam cups.

Worked great :)

They all had fun seeing what he got for presents.

He got some awesome gifts.....mostly Legos, which made him super happy!

Then we had cake and ice cream.

Em helped me with our awesome Lego cake!

Fun stuff :)

There was extra time, so they build more with big and little Legos, played outside with some of his new toys, and on the trampoline.

It all worked great.

Porter said that it has been the best two days of his life, so I think we did a good job.

Dad got to go flying this morning.

He has a friend in our ward that just bought himself an airplane....

He has been wanting to take Brent up, but it was always a bad time.

So we made it work this morning....Brent really wanted to get back up there.

I am glad he got to go.

They flew from Boise to McCall, the from McCall to Caldwell.

Brent got to take off in McCall and land in Caldwell....

He was super excited.

He loves flying, but it hasn't worked out much over the last 13 years.

So maybe he will get to go out more often now.
