So today was a better day.

It was actually a beautiful day.

I have to say, I love putting my clothes out on the line.

It gives me a few moments a day to just be outside and think as I hang the clothes to dry.

Outside at our amazing little piece of land here.

While Porter took his nap today, Brent and I walked around, talking about what to put on our to-do list.

It really is so beautiful out here.

We love our life here....and I know we have ups and downs, but we sure are happy.

Anyway....last night, after having a rough day, I wanted to look for some kind of FHE I could do for my family today.

I found one that talks about the war Satan is waging on the family.

And the weapons we need to be prepared with.

Here it is....

It was just what I needed to read and so tonight, after a pizza dinner on the lawn, that's what we did.

It was more of a discussion, but we talked about the weapons we need to be prepared with.

I really enjoyed it.

I think everyone did.

I hope it will give this family the boost that we need.

I love these guys more than anything and I am so very grateful for what I have.

I just want to be the best Mom that I can be for them.

Elsie LOVES Mater.....so while Dad took the other kids to get the pizza, she and I hung outside with Mater.

She made me laugh.

She even put her glasses on him.....so funny.

But she wouldn't do it again when I wanted a picture.

Oh well.

And the kids had fun stuffing grass in between their toes....goof balls.

That grass is long, but we are still waiting to cut it.

We don't have irrigation water anymore....so we are preserving it's nutrients :)
