Before I went for a run this morning, Madi helped me to lock Thor and Hulk inside the barn and leave the little ones outside the barn, in the fence.
Thor was still alive....I wasn't sure if he would make the night.
I still don't know if he really swallowed the chain, but it sure sounds like it.
But he is doing the noises less....
Anyway....the babies can now at least get food and water without Thor head butting them.
I am sure it will take a little time, but they will get along.
Especially once they can roam the whole field.
Hope we can get the fence all closed in and finished tomorrow!!!!
Anyway, when we came back in from separating the goats, Porter was making breakfast for Elsie.
It was the cutest thing.
He had the cream cheese package ripped open and spreading it on a bagel for her.
She was waiting so patiently.
It was the sweetest!
After my run we started mowing lawns.
The girls kept fighting over who would get to mow what.
I told them that there was PLENTY of grass that needed to be mowed and they would both get their fair share.
Silly girls.
Joanne came for speech today too.
We are gonna take a couple weeks off and let her adjust to the school sched.
She is gonna be so worn out!
The rest of the day was spent cleaning and doing laundry....
I moved furniture around in the TV room downstairs.
I think it looks less crowded.
It is gonna look nice when we can re-brick the fireplace!
I also want to rip up the carpet and paint the cement floors and get a nice rug.
That carpet is just so yucky.....
It was new when we moved in, but it was the cheap of the cheap, so it does not look good.
Oh well, one step at a time.
First things first and we gotta get that fence done!!!!!!
