Friday June 7

We made it home, safe and sound.

I didn't know how it would go today.

Me, driving home with all the kids, without dad.

But it wasn't too bad.

There were a few fights about seating arrangements between Madi and Cassi.

Some complaining from Elsie about her ears needing to pop....

And some yelling/singing from Porter....but no crying.

Which is good.

The drive went by pretty quickly.

We left the hotel after eating breakfast and packing up the car.

I met Jenni in Salt Lake, so she could drop off Cassi, who stayed the night with Ayden in Park City.

She said she had so much fun.

Then we headed out.

Thank goodness for the navigation on my phone, who Madi calls Edna.

I found my way easily in areas I would normally freak out about :)

Anyway we got home.

They were ALL exhausted.

No one slept on the drive, except Cassi for the last 30 min.

(Cause apparently she and Aydo didn't get much sleep last night :)

So when it came to unpacking, I had a lot of fighting.

I sent Madi and Cassi to their rooms.

They were the worst.

Will it ever get better between those two?????

Anyway, Port went to his room a couple times and Elsie was in time out once.

I ended up unloading everything myself.

The car still needs to be deep cleaned out, so I will have them do that tomorrow :)

But they all went out pretty early.

I hope things go smoothly for the next few days until dad comes back home with us.

I hope Dad has fun and is safe.

When he gets home i will add pictures of the things he has been doing.

Crazy, exhausting things.

And they hardly ever get breaks!

He said 5 guys got taken out today because of dehydration and one got cut with a saw.

Yesterday, 4 went out because of dehydration.

Crazy long days, with no breaks.

He says he is drinking good...he better be.
