A full 4 weeks with Dad at home with us.....

He had to go back today, and I didn't like that.

The kids didn't either :)

Port kinda likes his daddy around.

We all do.

But we survived the day.

But excited to have him back home.

Porter was kind of a stinker today.

Still pretty cute.....but a stinker.

He had a little glass jar he was eating strawberries out of.

I guess later in the day, he wanted a bigger jar.

He went and found one on the shelf outside his room....where I store them.

Well, he broke it.

Luckily, he didn't get hurt.

I made sure he was fine and told him he needed to go sit down so I could clean it up.

He was pretty upset and he said that he would "never be able to go into his room ever again!"

I told him it was okay, cause I would clean it up.

Then he says to me "Ya, but your not a very good cleaner...so you might not get it all!"

Not cool Port!

But I got it cleaned up and I think he was happy with the results, little stinker!

Madi was a little emotional after school.

She is worried about tomorrow.

Her first track meet.

She is worried because she doesn't know what to expect.

It is at the high school, so she doesn't know where events will be located...

She is worried about not hearing her events...

She is just worried.

And pretty stressed out.

It's hard to calm her down when I would feel the exact same way!

I think she will be fine.

I think I did okay making her feel excited about it.

Hope she gets some good sleep tonight!

Dussy boy sent us this picture today.

The first baby was born yesterday!

So exciting!

Can't wait to see more!

Elsie is one excited bug!

The big kids helped out with the little ones tonight.

They all love books.

Makes me happy.

I still wish I was a book reader.....

There is just so many other things I think of doing while I read :)

But I am glad they enjoy reading.

 

 

It's a good way to calm the boy down :)

After dinner and baths, Cassi wanted a little dance party.

This was before the reading, so they weren't calmed down yet :)

Cassi got a Kidz Bop CD from the library.

On it is a kids 'Gangam Style' song.

Once she put that on, they all went nuts :)

It was pretty funny!

And lots of fun to watch.
