I had to do some bribery with brownies today.

Elsie was almost done with her homework....but she started messing up too much and she wanted to give up.

So I got out the brownies....and she got a bite for each problem she finished.

Worked like a charm :)

And it has come to my attention that Port may be behind in what he should be as far as the alphabet goes.

But I am comparing him to all his friends his age...who all happen to be the first kid in their family.

And that makes a difference.

It's not an excuse....but I know for a fact I had LOTS of time to work one on one with Madi in her preschool years.

But Porter, not so much.

We do get one on one time....but it is usually playing.

He is a smart kid and catches on to things quickly.

Today we worked on the letter P....you know P for Porter.

He loved it.

I think it could be a lot of fun for both of us.

We pointed out things that started with the letter P all day.

And when Elsie sat down for homework...he was ready for more.

I need to find a good website with great preschool printables for him.

I guess I need to decide what I am going to do about preschool next year.

Apparently, I might be out of luck cause things are filling up fast.

But I have no problem doing a co-op kind of thing if I can find people to do it with.....

But I do think it would be a good thing for him to be in a school type setting....to learn those skills.

We will see.
