I have been wanting to make these cinnamon ornaments for a long time.

We finally found some time this afternoon.

The kids thought it was fun.

These are not edible.

It is about 1 cup applesauce mixed with about 1 1/2 cups cinnamon.

So....lots 'o cinnamon!

It was fun....and the whole house smells of cinnamon.

Not so bad right now...but when it was in the oven, wowza!

I think we will make this a tradition.

But I think the tradition will have to take place when Dad is at work next year..

Like I said, the cinnamon smell was really strong.

Kinda gave him a headache.

Woops.

We also had a fun little FHE tonight.

We talked about the symbols of the Christmas season.

Then had some frozen banana cream pie :)

It was a nice night.
