Monday October 22

Well, the day started out early again.

Elsie has been getting up between 5 and 5:30 the last few days....

That puts a kink in my 5:30 workout :(

So today I went running with Madi after school.

Sure wish it was summer time again and we could run together every day.

It really is a lot of fun to run with her.

And she keeps an awesome pace.

I need to make a goal to run with her a couple times a week no matter what!

We picked out our Christmas tree.

We found this one that is from last season that they gave to us for $35.

It is a good size...it has a pretty good shape.

At least it has one side that is great :)

But I like some character in my trees anyway!

Anyway, it is in a pot so that we can bring it in for Christmas, then plant it in the Spring.

I hope this becomes a tradition every year.

If we are gonna buy trees anyway, we should get other uses out of it :)

It will stay outside at least until after Thanksgiving.

But I can't wait to get it in and decorate it.

The kids are excited too.

Cassi was in charge of FHE tonight.

She chose the topic of how our good/bad moods affect the whole house.

She did a really great job.

We were very proud of her.

She has been doing pretty good in the mornings......

She, however, has NOT been doing good at night.

She wakes up once a night, if not twice.

And she does NOT just go back to sleep.

Last night I finally told her to just read a book then.

I was so tired....and there was no getting through to her.

I have no idea if she went back to sleep...I assume she did.

But she was up with cassi and I at 5:30 this morning.

I am exhausted between Cassi and Elsie and their sleeping habits!

AHHH!

Hope we can pull through :)
