I hate cats.
I really do.
But somehow....this little one has found a home here.
This is Mittens.
She is an early birthday gift for Madi Bell.
She is overly excited about it all....and she just loves the little kitty.
Like I said....I hate cats.
But I have found that I may just hate mice even more.
Living out here....there are mice.
So we figured we would get ourselves a little farm kitty and raise her to eat the mice around here :)
Sounds like a good plan.
And maybe....maybe....since she is still just a kitty, and I do think she is kinda cute.....
Maybe she can change my mind about cats.
Maybe.
All I know is, Madi is loving her.
She has been with her most of the day.
Just playing.
Mittens does definitely hate Mater though.
And she doesn't like the goats either....
Maybe she will be friends with the bunnies?
We will see how that goes :)

Wow, you guys are really adding the animals quickly! I kept meaning to ask you what the surprise was, I would have never guessed this! Did I tell you how brad's brothers cat peed on my duffle bag of clothes while we were in burley? I grew up loving cats but in recent years I have really learned to dislike them. Maybe we will have to stop coming over. j/k

Such a cute cat! I have always LOVED cats, but as an adult I've learned that you don't need to own every cat. We've had the same one for eleven years now.
Maddie's cat is cute AND it looks like one of those barnyard mice catching cats, so maybe it will become your favorite animal on your farm. :)
