Saturday August 18

We had a lot of fun today.

Madi stayed with Heather and Lauren for quite a while today.

She had a lot of fun.

The other three hung out with Grandpa at the store while I took the Matthews (Dave) family pictures.

When I got home, Port played a little bit with Bridger before it was time for a nap.

While he napped I got everything ironed for tomorrow.

Nice to have that done :)

When Porter woke up we decided to ride Strip.

Elsie was such a happy little girl.

It has been so long since we have ridden her!

Everyone got a turn.

Bridger and Teagan came down too.

Bridger rode Strip....but Teagan was just fine sitting in the Mule :)

Then when all the horse stuff was put away, we headed to McDonalds and Arby's.

Spoiled by two fast food places.

Then we took our dinner and headed to see the Buffalos.

Grandpa has been talking about having dinner and root beer floats with the Buffalos.

Elsie thought that would be the greatest!

We got there and the Buffalos were pretty far away.

So we ate our dinner and dessert before headed towards the fence.

Dad had a great idea.

We saw the Buffalos getting fed one time....Brent remembered that as soon as they heard the gate rattle, they headed that way.

So he started to shake the fence....

And guess what?

They came right over to us.

Elsie was so excited!

The baby buffalos were still pretty little.

They were so cute.

Elsie could not have had a better day.

She kept telling us that this was the 'BEST DAY EVER!'

And the cutest part.....she held onto Grandpas hand the whole ride home :)
