I wasn't able to blog last night cause we lost power.

We were outside checking out how strong the wind was, when we saw our neighbors pine tree break it's top and knock down the power line.

We ran inside and Brent called the neighbor and tried to call Idaho Power.

Then he went out to see if he could help out the neighbors.

The line was laying across one neighbors property and driveway.

Brent tried all night to contact Idaho Power.

One bad thing about not being part of a neighborhood....these private roads don't have 1st priority...

The power went out about 7:00 p.m......

They showed up to fix it at 3:00 a.m.

The kids spent the evening playing games and after the storm passed mostly, Brent and I finished putting stairs on the deck while he hooked up the TV with the generator so they could be occupied while we worked.

It worked out.

Man....it was a strong wind last night.
