Friday April 6

We may have set a record today with kid movies watched in one day :)

The original plan was to go over to the homestead to help my Dad did some holes to put the railroad ties in that we brought down to him.

But we woke up to snow :(

So while we were waiting the snow out....we watched movies and hung out at Em's.

Elsie and Em played non-stop.

Elsie told me, with the happiest smile on her face, that Emmy was her very best friend!

So sweet.

Brent installed a new kitchen faucet for Em....and it looks really nice.

I tried to get some shopping in.....I had to exchange the Easter shoes I got for Madi.

They still didn't have the right size, so I got them a bit bigger.....hope they work for her.

And all the while we watched more movies.

It was a nice relaxed day....but I feel bad we didn't get to help Dad dig those holes.

The snow stopped and melted....but everything was so wet, my dad thought it would rip up the ground to take the ties back to where they needed to go.

Then later tonight, after dinner, we headed to the Nickel arcade.

Lots of fun for the kids.....maybe even more fun for Dad :)

The won a bunch of tickets and we came home with some pretty great junk!
