What do you do with a day that is freezing and windy????
You make freezing and windy day lemonade :)
We started with a mini transformer kite.
But soon Dad decided that maybe a bigger kite would be more fun.
It took a few tries to get a model that worked....
Brent almost got taken out a few times.
The wind was very strong, and I had a hard time holding onto the string.....
But it got up....and it stayed up for a little bit.
But when it came time to put it back up, it came crashing down and busted.
Oh well....it was fun while it lasted.
The kids thought it was cool.
Walking back into the house, Elsie kept telling me that she though that was "SO AWESOME!!!"

I got to go to lunch with my very best of friends in the whole world.
I am lucky to have these two girls in my life.
They are my go-to girls.
They have seen me at my worst and at my best....and at my craziest, and they still love me.
