Maybe I say it too often.....

But I treasure moments like these.

Even though it was just that...a moment.

I cannot get over the fact that these two really CANNOT get along!

Why do they have such a hard time???

Why don't they understand that if they just learn to deal with each other, they would never get in trouble with me.

They usually ONLY get in trouble because of how they treat each other!

I told them yesterday that the new rule is they have to deal with their issues without coming to me.

If they come to me, they both lose.

No matter who's fault it is.

They are way too old to play the tattle-tale game :)

They are just such very different people.

Really, polar opposites.

But what they don't understand, but I hope they do sometime in their life.....is that they can learn so much from each other.

I am sure there will be a day when they will call each other for advice.....or call each other to rag on their mom (lets hope not).

But I want them to kinda be friends now.

It seems like such a waste for them to fight as much as they do.

Oh well...

Like I said....we did have a moment today.

A couple weeks ago, for activity days, Madi learned how to do a manicure.

So she wanted to try the method out on Cassi.

They started with a nice warm hand bath.....and followed up with some nice lotion they gave her at activity days.

Then prep and get the nails ready, then paint.

The girls had fun......until Cassi asked if Madi would let her do hers....

Madi didn't want her too.....then Cassi thought that wasn't fair.

Then it was all over.

Oh well.

Maybe, as they get older, little moments like these will come more and more and then fighting will get less and less.

That is what I am hoping for :)

(But it sure would be great if it could all happen at once when they wake up tomorrow morning!)
