Monday March 5

This girl is getting really good at maneuvering herself around pbskids.org.

She is pretty proud of herself too.
She will spend a few minutes on the computer, then move over to the table and color a picture, and play with some bendaroos.
Then she will feed and take care of her baby, or Buffalo, or puppy, or whatever it is she is playing with at the time......then head back to the computer for another game.
It is kinda funny to watch her.
She also needs a snack every now and then.
*****
Today didn't go quite as planned as I would have liked.
This morning, I was planning to help paint some rooms with a new neighbor who will be moving in this week.
But when the time came to paint....they couldn't find where the paint was....one friend went to her old house to look and the new neighbor had to have a dr appointment with her dad.
So by the time things got in order to paint....I didn't have time, cause I had to go get Elsie from school.
I usually do my grocery shopping on Monday mornings.
So instead of doing my grocery shopping this morning, I had to do it after I picked up Elsie.
Which means I had Elsie and Porter.
And it was during Porters nap.
It was horrible.
Just horrible.
I even got the evil eye from what should have been a sweet and understanding Grandma.
I kinda wanted to cry.
Porter was being so goofy, and Elsie hadn't gone to the bathroom all day.....so you can guess what happened then.
Oh, it really couldn't have been any better (said with much sarcasm!)
From now on.....I will do anything in my power to NEVER shop with kids again!
Okay, so that isn't always gonna be possible.....but I am sure gonna try.
I sure hope tomorrow is a better day.
My best of friends are taking me to lunch for my birthday.
I think it will be fun.

I feel ya! Don't we always vow to never take the kids to the store with us again, and yet we all do it?! I took all 4 of ours to Wal-Mart this afternoon. An old guy gave me the evil eye in the parking lot when I was waiting for someone to move. So I decided to just give him the biggest, dumbest grin and wave I could get out. I must have looked really weird, but hey, it threw off his grumpy groove! Made me feel a little better to. :)
I am making the vow again though. No more Wally World with four kids!
