Well....we made the drive to Utah today.
We are staying in a hotel tonight in Layton, which has been a lot of fun for the kids.
We had some time once we got here to take a quick dip in the pool.
The kids have been wanting to go swimming for a long time...so this worked out perfectly.
I don;t know...this hotel thing is kinda fun for the kids.
We may have to make some day trips more often as a mini vacation.
We came to Utah so that we could be here for sweet little Westons veiwing tonight and funeral tomorrow.
What a beautiful evening it was tonight.
Little Weston is truly an Angel who touched so many lives.
It was a constant stream on people all evening long.
So much love for this little Moonbeam (a nickname tagged to little Weston when his big brother Bridger became a Sunbeam in Pirmary.)
Brooke and Brad were amazing tonight.
Spending the evening lifting the spirits of those who moved through the line.
They miss him badly.
The miss holding him.
Miss squishing those sweet chunky cheeks.
But they are also at peace.
Brookie said to me that she feels like she was being prepared for this without knowing.
She said in the last week, Sweet little Weston, who was constantly crying and in pain, was all of the sudden peaceful and would look knowingly into Brookie's eyes.
She said she felt like he wanted to tell her something.
She said she took the time to make some Valentines with her sweet boy.
Using paint and their footprints to make hearts.
She video taped Bridger putting paint onto little Westons feet so they could make the hearts.
She said she took so many picture over the last few months and she is so very grateful for those.
I am so Thankful this sweet family was given such an amazing little guy for these last 4 months.
There were a couple pictures that they had in the slideshow of little Westons looking up at his Mama like this one.
That just melts my heart.
What a beautiful memory to always remember!
*****
Little Lex and Elsie had fun hanging out with eachother for the evening.
Such cute little friends :)
