It was a beautiful day today.

The kids spent some time outside.

They walked down by the canal and collected a bunch of rocks and had contests on who could throw it across the canal the furthest.

But Elsie said she was throwing Buffalo food to the Buffalo's, of course.

Whatever they were doing, they had a fun time doing it :)

Port thought he could get this big rock out of the ground......he tried REALLY hard....but just couldn't do it.

He says he has to 'get bigger like Daddy'!

Such great kiddos we have here.

They helped me unload a few boxes of food storage items that were out in the garage.

We set some shelves up downstairs, so now we can have a 'food storage room' area.

Now I just need to stock up on the actual food storage part.

I am excited for when the shelves are full of bottled fruits and veggies from our own trees and garden.

The kiddos have also been very good at helping with the chickens.

Since we don't have a coop set up outside yet, we move them in the mornings from Dads shop to their little fenced in area to hang out for the day.

Then after dinner, we go back out and grab them and put them back in the shop.

They don't complain and they are excited to do it.

I know it is still new and exciting....but I am still proud of them.
