Wednesday January 11

The girls were very excited to go to Activity Days for the first time since moving to this ward.
It will be fun for them to get to know the girls their age and do some fun activities.
They came home eating big chocolate bars....so I am pretty sure they are gonna love it there :)
*****
Today kinda felt like a big rush of a day.
I had a Dr appointment for Cassi at 9.
I told them I probably couldn't make it until 9:10 or so.....
So I ran Madi to school, only to find out (or remember) it was late start.
So I told her to just let them know that I had to drop her off so I could make the Dr appt.
Just then the principal came around and I talked with her...and no big deal, we were on our way.
I actually passed by the Dr office right at 9.
But I still had Elsie with me :)
So I took Elsie to school, but again, late start.
So I ran her in and they were happy to have her a little early.
Then I run back to the Dr office and made it there at about 9:!5.
Not bad.
After the appointment I ran Cassi back to school.
Went home to clean up the whirlwind that was left behind this morning....then I was back out the door to get Elsie.
It was all kind of a blur!
But then it calmed down.
After school, I picked up Alex and brought her home with us.
So Elsie and Alex kept busy while Porter napped and I could get some more chores done.
Then when the girls came home....they snacked and did their chores.
Then it was off to Activity Days.
I invited Jenni to bring her other girls over for dinner tonight.
She came over and the kids played while we made dinner....and Jenni went to pick up the girls for me.
It was a good day and a fun evening.....but I have to say, I am excited to have the day over now.
I hope that tomorrow can be a little more laid back :)

Woah, what time do your schools start around there? On regular days? Just seems late....

I love Activity Days! And Mutual! Such good, wholesome activities for our girls!
