Both of our big girls were named students of the month this month.

Kind of fun.

Cassi got an award for self-discipline.

She is such a great kid and a fantastic student!

Madi was awarded an award for her diligence.

I would definitely say that Madi Bell is diligent.

She is also a great kid and an awesome student.

Her teacher just loves her.

We are very proud of both our girls and we are lucky to have them as part of our family.

After school we decided it was time to get some more work done outside.

We made a nice big fire pit and cleaned up some more branches and stuff from around the place.

Cassi and I both got tractor driving lessons.

She is pretty fun to drive.....although Dad still said that Madi is a better tractor driver than me....that's okay.

I have time to get better :)

Then we decided to just have a hot dog cook-out for dinner....followed by some roasted marshmallows.

Elsie thought it was important for her to strip off her shoes and socks to keep her piggies warm by the fire.

This is the life.

We sure love being able to live this life out here.

Yes, lots of work.

But also a lot of family time and outdoor time.

Exactly the kind of life we dreamed of for our family :)
