I am a brave mom....

I ventured out into the shopping world today with all 4 kids in tow...on the last Saturday (besides Christmas Eve) before Christmas!

It was a mad house...and the traffic was crazy.

But we got the stuff done that we set out to do.

But I can't say there was no yelling or threats involved....cause there was....

But I think the night ended on a good note and they don't think I am the worlds worst mom....anymore :)

The first place we stopped was the dollar store.

I gave each kid $3 to find something for each of the other siblings.

I have to say.....I am pretty impressed with what the kids came up with.

And I loved that they took the time to really try and find something that the person would actually love.

"They" being Madi and Cassi.....I helped out Elsie and Porter.

I know it is just the dollar store....but I think they did a great job!

Then we went on to finish everything else we needed to.

There is still stuff to do at home to get ready, but as far as the shopping part goes....I think I am done.

When we got home....I put Port to bed and the kiddos wrapped the gifts for the boy.

Then we took turns sending each girl out so we could wrap the gifts for them without them seeing.

They had fun with it.

I am getting very excited for Christmas.....there is still a ton to do.

I wanted to be done before the 12 days of Christmas......and I did not meet that goal :(

I have lots of sewing to do.

But...nothing that is do or die.

So I can live with that.

I am proud to say that most of this Christmas came from Craigslist or from an auction.

We got some majorly cool things......for way less than a fraction of the price!

Can't beat that!
