Saturday December 10

So...today I had planned on being a very productive day.

But last night.....I threw-up all night and felt lousy all night and day today.

So.....I did not do much of anything at all.

Well, I laid around a lot.

But Dad and the kids were hard at work.

They cut another cord of wood.

And did lots of other chores outside....they are good little workers.

And they really enjoy the time with their Dad.

And they get a cut of each cord we sell.

They also did a lot of playing around and GETTING ALONG!

That always makes me so happy.

Later this evening we delivered that cord of wood.

We had a close call with Madi's foot.

She was helping with the tilt-trailer and her foot got stuck up under the bed full of wood and the frame.

She was very tough....but it could have been very bad.

Her boots saved her toe.

If she was wearing tennis shoes, it would have cut right through her foot.

So that was a close call.

I am proud of her and her willingness to help out....and now she knows to be aware of what could go wrong too.

We got lucky.

We got home and found our Christmas tree had tipped over :(

The base of it was cracked and decided to bust all the way.

We will look into getting a new tree on sale after Christmas.....we will see.

But Dad fixed it up so we can at least make it through Christmas.

I am really hoping to feel better tomorrow.

I don't have time to be sick!

But I also really hope that no one else gets it.....cause that is no fun either!
