So I think I know why I got so sick.
See, I am not the most sympathetic mother or wife.
Really. I'm not.
I am the kind that says "Be tough, just get over it."
Ya, not so nice.
So, I guess I needed a big kick in the butt so that when Cassi came to me at 3:00 a.m. with a tummy ache, I would have sympathy for the girl.
And when, after inviting her in bed with me, she would toss and turn for hours.....I would think back at how the night before, I too was tossing and turning because I couldn't get comfy.
When I woke up with Elsie and Porter this morning, I just let Cassi sleep (I mean, she had just fallen to sleep a half hour or so before).
Got Madi and Elsie ready for school and when it came time to take them to school, I finally woke Cassi to see how she was doing.
She was feeling better, but still not great.
So I kept her home and let her rest for the day.
She had bouts of goofiness mixed with moaning and rolling on the floor.
But most of the day she stayed glued to the T.V.
I said glued to the T.V......not glued to her particular seating position.
That girl was all over the place.
She cracks me up.
Hopefully she can have a good nights sleep tonight....and be back to normal tomorrow.
Only one problem....Madi is sitting here with me telling me that her tummy hurts.
So I am being nice.
See, I can learn.
