Today was wrapping day for me.
Madi did a good job watching the kiddos so I could get a lot done.
This is a picture of Elsie, giving Madi some 'Reindeer antlers'.
I came form a family where EVERYTHING was wrapped.
And we each opened a present one at a time.....with 9 kids, it helped fill up the whole day.
Brent grew up in a family where not much was wrapped AND he got to tear into it all at once.
Well, I think our family has come up with a happy medium between the two.
I wrap about half of the presents....and the rest are left out to see when you walk in the room.
I do have a hard time with it, only cause I wish I could see every one's reactions at the same time.
But that is what video-taping is for, right?
This year is gonna be a fun one.
It is a smaller one compared to other Christmases, which I like.
And, as I said before, the majority of things came from an auction or craigslist (or something we already had, just revamped).
But I am so very excited for this year.
We got some pretty fantastic stuff for them.....stuff they have wanted F.O.R.E.V.E.R!
It will be fun to see how the day goes and I just hope they can NOT FIGHT.....cause that is all I want for Christmas!
I hated hearing stuff like that as a kid.
But, oh man......isn't it so very true.
My very best days are made because of kids getting along.
