Sunday November 6

We got up this morning and packed up and left Uncle Ricks house by about 9:00.

We had promised the kids a stop by the petrified forest store/museum.

We spent about an hour there looking around at some pretty great stuff and they got some fun souvenirs to remember Arizona.

Then we were on the road by 10ish.

The drive was pretty good.

Everyone behaved themselves pretty good.

They kept themselves busy with movies....music, drawing and stickers....and letter writing with Emmy (Cassi did that)

Oh, and playing around taking pictures with our phones :)

Port did end up throwing up a few times....but I think I am beginning to think it has to do with maybe some ear infections.

We will see.

Poor kid.

Anyway, with a couple stops we made the trip in about 8 hours.

We did stop off in Payson at Rachel's house where they fed us some yummy dinner and we played for a little bit.

Then we were back on the road for the last 30 min of the trip to Emmy's house.

We got here safe and sound, as usual.

Everyone is sleeping now and getting ready for Cassi's big day tomorrow.

Cassi turns 8 tomorrow.

We are planning to have a fun little birthday breakfast for her in the morning, then head to Evanston for some more fun :)
