Friday July 8

Well, it has been a busy day.
We didn't really do anything.....but we took many many trips to the potty.
My sister started potty training her little guy who is the same age as Port.
I thought I would give it a try as well.
I know he is ready.....it is just if I am ready to do it or not.
I am so excited with the results today.

He is rocking it!
He did have a couple accidents, but they weren't full blown accidents....more like a dribble and he stopped to get to the potty.
He does need to learn how to empty that bladder though.
He would get on, and pee, get off.
Then a couple seconds later, come back and pee more.
And again.....silly boy.
We will get it, but I am so excited about how it went today.
I don;t even know what we would do with the extra diaper money!!!!!!
Maybe go on a cruise :)
Just kidding!

We also had a bit of trouble today.
We have had a few issues with Cassi's guitar teacher.
First, she has ALWAYS been at least 15-30 min. late for each and every lesson.
One time she took a 15 minute call outside during Cassi's 30 minute lesson.
Another time, she spent the entire time google-ing what kind of strings and guitar I should get for Cassi.
I didn't ask her to do it, and I could have done it on my own time.
When she packed up to go, without giving any kind of lesson to Cassi, I was so mad!
I told her that I paid for her to give Cassi and lesson, and she said that she didn't have time, but I insisted that she did not charge me for that day....after some fighting of sorts....she finally agreed not to charge for that lesson.

Well, today was another incident.
Cassi's lesson time is at 4:45.
It was 5:00, still no teacher.
I was inside cleaning in the kitchen and I went outside to ask if Porter need to go potty.
I came back in and checked out the door, and saw her van outside.
I yelled back outside for Cassi to come in and get ready.
I picked up a few things off the couch and the next thing I know, the van is gone.
I called her, literally like 1 minute after she left, and she told me that she was sorry, she waited there for 5 minutes, knocking and ringing the doorbell.
She said she couldn't come back because she was already late for her next lesson.
Really?????
Late for the lesson?
When did she have plans to give Cassi her lesson?????
AND....she was 20 minutes LATE....don't you think I would at least deserve a call before she leaves, whether or not she was late to her next lesson????
AHHHHH!!!!!
So frustrating!
The problem is, I have already paid for 4 lessons in advance.
I would love more than anything to not see her again, but want my moneys worth.
But I also don't want to have a confrontation with her about getting my money back.
So I think my plan is to just do the last 4 lessons and not use her anymore.
But good news is, Cassi's 1st grade teacher's husband teaches guitar, and he is taking new students for about the same price and what we are paying now......so I am excited about that and really want to take that route!
So maybe it is all a blessing in disguise!
But Cassi was bummed to not have a lesson today, since she hasn't had one for several weeks.
*****
The girls were very helpful in cleaning up today.
I told them that if they were good, then I would get a Redbox for them.
A Redbox Wii game.
What a great idea!
Two bucks to try out a game.

I got Just Dance 2, and they are hooked!!!!
It was so cute to see them dancing and jumping around.
I played a round with them, and it is a pretty great little work out too!
Fun stuff!
