Strip time!!!!!

We woke up to snow this morning.

Not a lot, but it was still snow!

Brent and I set out pretty early to clean out the garages and haul the good stuff to the warehouse and junk the other stuff.

The sun was out and shining....but it was freezing cold with the wind.

But I think the wind might have been better than the rain.

Maybe.

After we hauled all that stuff out, we loaded the wood and tin roofing that we, mostly Brent, ripped off the garage yesterday.

We loaded it onto the trailer so that Russ and Nancy could haul it down to their place to make themselves a barn.

It was good hard work.

I actually love doing good hard work with my hubby.

In the evening, the wind kinda slowed down.

A little bit.

So we decided that if we were gonna have a chance to ride Strip, this would be it!

First we had some dinner and headed out there.

Elsie was sure a happy little bug!

We get a pail full of pellets, and shake the pail a little bit, and the horses come running from wherever they may be.

See, told ya she was a happy girl!

Strip hasn't had anyone ride on her all winter....so we didn't let the kids ride her alone.

But I think Strip was a happy girl to get those riders!

We are glad we got to have a chance to ride Strip.

We can't wait until the summer time...and we can ride Strip all day everyday!!!
