Good eats!

Today was pretty much about food.
***
The goats had to be fed.
Port was more than happy to get out there and help Dad feed the goats.

He even got to drive the 4-wheeler for Dad as he dropped the hay off.
He did a pretty good job....he was kinda fast, but he got the job done.
Then we had to feed Strip, or course!
Elsie was ready with her carrots.
Very excited to see her Strip.
Porter didn't leave much of his carrot for Strip.
He was thinking it tasted pretty good for himself.
Elsie spent some time with Strip.
I don't think anyone really understands how much she LOVES this horse!
She just couldn't get close enough.
Right after I took this picture, poor Strip had to cough.
Elsie jumped pretty high...was a little worried about it, but then when Dad told her that Strip just had a little cough, she thought it was funny.
Porter was a good little helper again.
Scooping the hay up to feed to the horses.
This kid loves to work outside....and do big boy jobs.
Dad asked if anyone wanted to go for a 4-wheeler ride...
Cassi and Porter were more than happy to.
Elsie said, no, she would rather spend her time with her Strip.
Cass enjoyed being a helper too.
She was COVERED in hay after this shot.
The wind came up and blew it all over her.

Later on in the afternoon, we all got together and we had a fun little picnic, of sorts.
We went to the feed store, set up a fire pit out front and roasted hot dogs.
It was a lot of fun with lots of fun people to play with.
Where is Madi, you ask???
This is what she has been up to ALL DAY!!!
Aunt Sandra let Madi play with her boondoggle rope.
And Madi has been boondoggle-ing all day long.
She has been pretty happy about it too!

It was a yummy dinner and a fun time....
And Uncle Ugly even brought some Sparklers over.
That was a big hit.
Now we are all tired.
Ready to get some sleep so we can play hard again tomorrow!!!

(Dussy Boy, I know I posted a lot of pictures...but at least I didn't post all 96 that I took today....)
