Madi has been working on a extra credit project for class.
She has been making a Solar System mobile.
She wanted to make fabric balls, and I figured it was a good idea...they are pretty easy to make.
Even better is that Madi sewed almost all of them. I did the smaller planets, cause they were a little more tricky.
But she had a blast using my machine.
It is nice cause it has a speed setting, so she can go slower and do a really good job.
Here is her final product.
She is excited about it, and excited to hang it in her room when she gets it back.

This morning I noticed Porters face was very swollen on the right side.
And it was hard.
So I took him into the doc.
She said that he has a infected Lymph Node.
Poor guy.
He looks pretty goofy.
Big fat face on one side....but he is still pretty cute.
I will take a picture tomorrow....doc said it is gonna stay swollen for awhile.
But he is on antibiotics now, so hopefully it won't get worse.
Doc thinks that while he had those bad ear infections over the winter, that made his lymph nodes swell up.....and at some point somehow got an infection in there.
I hope he feels better soon.
Poor boy.
I guess I should be happy that he doesn't have an ear infection as well, right?

Good Job Madi Bell! Wow Bridger and Porter really are twins. We just went through the same thing with Bridger man. He kept telling me his cheek hurt...and when I felt it was hard. We took him to the doc and that's what he thought it was...we had to have a CAT scan just to make sure. The antiobiotic cleared it right up! Get better fast Mr. Porter :-) They are no fun .

Sorry about Porter - but I'm glad that at least it isn't another ear infection.
