General Conference

We were lucky today to watch and listen to the words of our sweet Prophet and other amazing leaders in our church.
I feel so uplifted and able to make it through until the next General Conference!!!

Just look at President Thomas S. Monson. Don't you just wanna hug him???

I am so Thankful for his talk today on having an Attitude of Gratitude.
Isn't it amazing how every talk seems to be speaking to you and your situations in life. At least that is how it feels to me. I feel like Gratitude is just the thing I need to remember in my daily life. Not that I haven't been Grateful, but you know how it is...getting kids ready for school, changing diapers, time-out, cooking, cleaning (ha, ha), and more time-out. It is hard to always remember the good stuff and to be grateful! But really, I am so lucky to have those things in my life and all the other amazing things that go along with all that stuff! I can't wait until the Conference addresses come out in the Ensign so I can take time to read them all over again!

*******************************

I am so Thankful to have the gospel in our lives. I am Thankful to have amazing leaders to help guide us. I am Thankful for the gift of repentance....and that Christ suffered our sins so that we could repent. I am truly Grateful for an amazing husband who loves me and is willing to do anything for his family. I am Thankful for his Priesthood leading our home. I am so Grateful that we have 4 amazing little kids. I feel so lucky and humbled to be the one raising them to go out into this world. I just hope I can get myself in gear and do the best job I can. I am so Thankful for the chance I have to invite the spirit into our home...and I know it has been felt by others who are not of our faith. Anyway...just felt like it was important for me to jot that stuff down. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I really loved Pres. Monson's talk. He is inspired. I agree, it's difficult to stay positive, especially when it feels like things aren't going the way they are "supposed" to!

Thanks for sharing your testimony.

I loved his talk too! It is hard to be grateful sometimes when we get caught up in the day to day. But there are some people out there that are trying to have children and can and I need to be grateful that I have loads and loads of childrens clothes to wash, kids to send to time-out, diapers to change, meals to fix, etc. He is truely an inspired man!
