Happy un-birthday...

Today was a BIG day for Elsie.

One she has been talking about for a LONG time.

Since Elsie has a summer birthday...they got to celebrate her birthday in preschool today.

A few months ago, when we went to visit our families, there happened to be a few cousins who had birthday while we were there.

Well, ever since we got back from that trip, it has been Elsie's birthday, EVERY DAY.

She would walk around singing Happy Birthday to herself...we would give her pretend presents.

She would tell people she was 5, so she must have totally skipped age 4!

It was pretty funny.

So when she found out that she got to actually celebrate her birthday today, she was so excited!!!
I hope she isn't totally birthday-ed out by the time her REAL birthday rolls around!

She also got to have a sort of Field day at school today.

Bubbles, parachutes, tunnels, chalk...lots and lots of fun.

Then after school we went to a co-op meeting at the park so they got to play for a couple more hours.

When we got home she was begging to go to bed.

I thought she would just rest...

Little did I know she would take a 3 hour nap!!!

She must have been totally worn out!

And she woke up happy.

Which is always awesome!

BUT...she is sitting right by me here, right now.

I wonder when she will get tired???

Oh well, it was a fun day for her!
