Garage picnic...

We had a picnic in the garage this evening.
We were all out there...but it was raining, so we couldn't go out in back...
So we just ate our pizza in the garage.
Brent is making some shelves for me...
I am so excited...
It is the start of a more organized me!
Anyway...we were out in the garage...the kids playing in and out of the car.
At one point Elsie and Porter were in the car alone...and it got locked.
I know, I know...
Well, we couldn't find the spare key anywhere...and we kept trying to get Elsie to unlock the door.
She was very good at locking it...but we couldn't get her to slide her finger over to unlock it.
It was actually pretty amusing if you were to walk by and watch us.
Porter thought it looked fun and crawled over to 'help' her out...
Well, she would get mad and hit him, then he would turn and go to get her...then I would BANG on the windows and yell until they would leave each other alone...
And we continued to try to get her to unlock it...
We even got Porter working the other door.
Like I said, funny stuff.
Well, finally, I offered Elsie a Popsicle...
And guess what.
Yep.
She unlocked it.
Now who knows if that was just luck for it to happen that way...or if she was holding out for some great promises...
But it is pretty funny how easy it was for her to unlock it.
Little turkey!
But it was a fun afternoon, and I can't wait to work more on the shelves so I can show them off!

A garage picnic is a great idea! Still sort of out of the house... but with out the wind and crummy weather we've been having!
