I LOVE and appreciate all those who have helped in making Elsie's life just a little bit easier!!!
It is amazing how many services there are around for little kids with "disabilities".
I am so thankful for all the services Elsie receives and will continue to receive.
Elsie got her new foot braces today.
They are more light weight than her old ones...and these will actually help mold her feet in a better way.
To help prevent things from going wrong in the future.
I still need to hunt down some shoes for them to fit in.
They aren't really that bulky, except over the outside of her foot, and that is what makes it hard.
I need to find a tall shoe, that ties on top, and I can pull the insole out.
I also hope I can find some that are lightweight...she has been doing such great walking with the shoes she has, and they are so light-weight...I would hate to weigh her down with heavy shoes!
But, like always, I don't want to spend a fortune...
So if anyone has any suggestions...
And yes, they are pink camouflage...so cute, right?!?

Her braces are so cute! I hope that you can find some shoes for her. What about canvas high tops, like converse chuck taylors...I think Payless sales an off-brand. Would that give her enough support?

She is such a sweetie!

Way cute color! I was thinking the same thing with the shoes as April, those are the only cute hi-tops I can think of! Maybe you could even find a pink pair!

Have you tried Zappos.com? You can buy shoes there made for shoe inserts and there customer service is unbelieveable. You order them and they are on your step the next day! Free returns too and way tooo easy to return too! Anyways they have all sorts of prices, but you might have to spend a little more for a special shoe, but it is probably worth it. Plus it will probably the only pair you have to buy her! Good luck! Maybe I should work for Zappos!!

I am thankful for such wonderful services! I hope that it doesn't hinder her progress too much but she is a trooper and will adapt to them quickly! Good luck on the shoe quest!
