I LOVE GIVE-A-WAYS!!!!!!
Today is the day!
I promised there would be a give-a-way!!!
I love to enter give-aways...and I have won a few things!
So you know how I made messenger bags for the girls for school?
Well, I tried to alter the pattern to make a scripture bag for Madi.
This was my test subject!
I think it turned out great!
And I want one of you to have it!!!
Now whomever wins needs to realize that I am not a professional seamstress!!!
You will have to overlook and and all flaws that you see!

It is the perfect size for scriptures...

It also nicely fits chapter books, board books, art pad, pencils and crayons.

It will fit children, usually over the shoulder like Cassi has it, or it fits me, an adult, just fine on one shoulder.

It is quilted. Nice bright colors. Yellow lining.

Lots of fun!

DO YOU WANT IT????????

Just leave me a comment and tell me what you plan to use the bag for...yourself, a gift, for a child??? What do you plan to use it for???

I will take comments until Sunday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. That is when I will pick one of you as the winner!!! YAY!

That is the day my baby boy turns 10 months old......I am not sure if I am excited or so very sad!!!

Can't wait to hear your comments!!!

I would totally love this!!!

I would use this for Lily's scriptures...hold on to it until she gets baptized and give her the bag and the scriptures at the same time!

I would also see about stitching Lily's name on the bag.

This is fun!

Oh, Porter is growing so quickly!

It is so cute!!! I would use it for myself! Ü It would be nice to have a scripture bag, so I wouldn't have to carry my scriptures in my diaper bag.

Ok- I totally want it! I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a cute scripture bag for Ashley (since she is getting baptized in a couple of weeks), and my mother-in-law (who I love) said she is going to make one if I don't find one. Let's just say, we don't really have the same taste, so I am a little worried, and don't know how to tell her no. Help me! Ok.......does that convince you to pick me? lol.....

although if you do pick me.....i might have to convince you to make a cool boy one also. Ok....hopefully that doesn't make you want to NOT pick me..... :)

Hmmmmmm, so many uses!!! I would probably give it to Samantha to take to church for her scriptures. Right now I carry them but she loves to hold them and I think this would probably be the perfect bag for her.
OR, I would take it myself and store my drugs in it. I mean....store my makeup in it. Yeah, makeup, that's right!

Well, I have to say, that you are becoming quite the sewer! The bag is darling! (How do you find the time)
And okay.... I have four girls that would fight over it, so if you pick me, you would have to send me four! Are you up for that??
If not, I need the pattern!

That is so adorable! Well if you picked me I would probably give it to either Bailey or Morgan for their scriptures....Probably Bailey and then I could just get the pattern from you for Morgan for her birthday!

Love it, the bag is adorable. The only problem I would have is picking which of my 4 daughters to give it to :) Sundays it will be for church and the rest of the week will be used as their "purse". You should start selling them, I'd love to place an order!

I guess my secret is out. I really think the bag is cute and would love to have the pattern so I could make Allison one for her birhtday. She will be 8 at the end of the year.

i think the bag is really cute. is it too girly for a boy? because parker loves to bring toys with him wherever we go & it would be the perfect size.

SO CUTE! You are so talented! I LOVE it! I must admit though...everyone has a better use for it and although I would love it, sadly I don't have a use for it...so therefore I am gonna have to aim for the next giveaway! Love you!

Um . . .Hi Kim, I'm Annie's sister-in-law Heather, and I sometimes stalk your blog/photography website to see your super cool pictures!! :) My daughter is turning 8 this year, and I would use the bag for a gift for her to use for scriptures and for church. Also . . . did you use a tutorial online to make it? What a great idea, maybe I can make one myself??? How long did it take you??

I could use that for so many things it's not even funny. I think I'd just make it a purse because I'm constantly on the go with my play and can NEVER seem to find my keys, phone or sunglasses in my GIANT bag full of costumes, scripts, and treats.

Ooh, or maybe I'll make it my treat bag.

Or maybe a purse for Mayci...she does love a fantastic purse.

Kim, knowing you, I am guessing you didn't use a pattern and just made it up. Either way you need to post a tutorial, so all of us losers who don't get it can make our own. I would use it for Becca as a reward for FINALLY going in the potty!!! 2 days and counting.

Wow lots of people want this bag! It is very cute! I vote for the tutorial, because I never win things! Both my girls would love it! A girl can never have to many bags, right!

That is adorable- you are so talented!!
I would love to win this for my Quincy. She is way into purses right now and is carrying all her little things around in like sacks from the mall and stuff! haha
Anyways, if not maybe I will have to copy you and make her one- so cute!!

Very cool bag! I don't have any little girls in my family so I'm thinking I'd use this myself as a little walking bag. I was just lamenting that fanny packs are soooo useful, yet so awkward and unflattering. I bet this little bag would make an excellent little pouch to hold the little things you collect while hiking, or that ever useful pack of kleenex and chapstick.

Very cute bag. I would use it for my daughter for scriptures. If I don't win I will just have to make her one. Very cute!

Very cute bag! If I won I'd probably give it to my god daughter, or use it for library books.

Everyone wants one! You should start a business girl! Avalon would love that as well. She is currently using her dad's ugly green old bag for her scriptures at church and keeps saying she wants a "purse" to put her scriptures in. You've got talent Kim.

My daughter LOVES this! It's beautiful, and the perfect place for Bible and notebook. Great work!

My husband is cousins with Lyric, and yes, I'm a blog stalker. I would love the bag for either of my girls and I also vote for that tutorial so I could try one myself. I love the "picture a day" by the way.
