We LOVE our family away from family!!!
When we first moved here to Boise it was pretty scary.We were leaving our home and families...all alone with a brand new baby!
I can't even tell you how lucky we were to have been adopted by the Young family.
Drew and Brent went to the Fire Academy in Utah together.
Drew and Heather were living here in Meridian when we got the job in Boise.
Without ever meeting us, Pat and Steve (Drew's parents) let us live with them until we could find a home of our own.
Even with our newborn crying baby and that baby's messy mom!!!
How amazing is that!
That doesn't even began to cover what this family has done for us!
Pat and Steve are just like Grandparents to our kids.
Drew and Heather, just like brother and sister.
(Heather and I have even been asked many times if we were sisters)
And all the kids...just like cousins.
We really couldn't have made it here without them!
Tonight we got to all hang out again.
After watching Kara's last soccer game, we came to our house and had s'mores.
Always a fun time.
We just love our family away from family.

That is great...they seem like great people. Ashley has played the little girl in the green soccer shirt twice this season. Her last game was against her last night.....were you there and I didn't see you? :( Nice you have such good friends...they are hard to come by.
