Okay, this is way too many pictures for one post...so sorry...but enjoy anyway!
Today for preschool we took a field trip to Albertsons....they had so much fun. The store manager, Robert, did such a great job making it exciting and taking them to all areas of the store. I was very impressed. First they got to go to the bakery where they got to decorate their own cupcake. Then onto the produce, and the giant fridge in the back, which they thought was cool, or I should say cold...ha, ha...I am pretty funny!
Anyway, they got a fruit roll up in the produce, then onto the Deli. They got to have some turkey and cheese wraps. Food is always a winner with preschool age kids!
Then after talking about the dairy foods they got to go into the big freezer, Cassi thought that was the best part.
Then he talked about the differences of pork, chicken and beef. Then they got to play with Larry the lobster, I think all the kids touched him...surprisingly!
Then they got to ring their own bag of cookies through the checkout, that was pretty cool! And on the way out we got to try the new chips at the chippery, which are so good!
All in all it was a success! The kids loved it and they were all so well-behaved!
Thanks so much to Robert and Albertsons!

She is so cute I could just eat her up! She looks so interested in every word that he is saying, and I love that she is holding on to the other little girls hand, so sweet! How fun! By the way food not only is a winner for preschool kids, I think it is a winner for EVERYONE!
how fun!
did you notice the beer bottles behind the lobster? Ü
What a fun tour! I was in Smiths the other day when they were explaining things to preschoolers and they had so many funny questions! She is getting so big Kim...
Very cool!! I love all the field trips you guys do. I am sad that only one other person in my neighborhood is interested in doing preschool... Does Albertson's do this kind of thing for such a small group? (My 2 boys and my friends 2 girls) That little boy looks like he is freezing in the freezer! Cassi is so cute!!!
And there is no such thing as too many pictures!!!
Who knew the grocery store could be so much fun! What a cool field trip!
