I have wanted to do these pictures for a long time.
My girls have attached themselves to stuffed animals. Madi fell in love with 'Baby Bear' when she was very little. He was mine when I was younger. And she has slept with her every night ever since then.
Cassi got 'Rabby' for her first Easter, and when she got raggedy, Grandma found 'Muffin' who is the same size, color, texture, only he was a dog...in hopes to replace 'Rabby'...well Cassi decided she would keep 'Rabby' AND got a new friend. That was a long time ago, and now 'Muffin' is getting raggedy!
Elsie got 'Bunny' from our friend Tracy when we first had Elsie. Every time we lay her in bed she puts her arms up, we hand her 'Bunny' and she rolls to the left side cuddling her 'Bunny'. It's pretty cute.
I wonder if it is hereditary? I had a bunny that I slept with even up until I got married (but I still have him!)...hmmm...maybe these girls will break the habit before that!
Anyway, I wanted to do pictures of them with their animals, and I thought I would share!

P.S. Elsie is SO white!!!
These pictures are seriously adorable. And by the way, my life has been unbelievably uneventful this week, so I've had nothing to blog about. I keep getting on my blog thinking, What the heck can I post about? I need to do some pictures.
Kim...you may not even remember me, we worked together at Kiddie Kandids about 6-ish years ago. I found you blog while I was "blog stalking". I wouldn't even had known it was you, except for I saw that picture of you and your husband taken at Kiddie kandids. You family is beautiful, hope all is well.

Easton has three favorites, and we never name them - we just call them what they are : Bear, Hippo, and Monkey. I used to have a Troll (do you remember those things) that I slept with until I was 16. Then when I was 16 I met a return missionary and decided that I needed to grow up. So I threw it away. What a big step that was for me :).
You met a return missionary when you were 16 Rachel???
beautiful portraits. My little Logan is totally attached to "Teddy"...he's not quite a bear anymore, he's like a bear rug now!
Those are some of the best pictures I have ever seen. I do think the whole attachment to a blankie or stuffed animal could be partially hereditary because neither Steve or I get attached to things and our kids don't either...we're pretty much heartless around here! Or maybe they see mommy secretly cuddling with teddy when daddy isn't home and think it's normal! If I could get cute pictures like that of my kids I would force them to adopt a pet!
Kim,
I LOVE those pics! The lighting looks great! That's cute they are attached to their animals! Our kids all have their "blankies" and I love it. Anyways, cute pics!
Love, Summer
How Cute!!!
They are just simply 'gorgo' girls. I can't wait to see you guys again. My dose at Christmas just wasn't enough. Give them all a big kiss and hug from me!
Scott, just laughed and said that it is a constant photo shoot at the Mathews house.
Gorgeous pics...we're still anticipating OUR family pictures Kim!!! (Wink, wink)
I love the stuffed animal idea. I may need to do some of my kids and their "Nana blankies".
Ok just to clarify, I met a return missionary when I was 16 that I wanted to marry, but he didn't even know I was alive. But that's when I decided that if we had a chance of getting together that I'd have to get rid of Troll. And what about Mallari? She worked for her husband.
Kim- I wish I had an ounce of your talent...
Love the pics.
SO cute! I love all of them. I dont feel like I document Owens love of "puppy" enough...maybe you will have to take some pictures of them when you come down next :)
LOVE these pictures! The first one with the catchlights in the animals eyes too is so great! You have such beautiful girlies!
Kim-These pics are so cute! What a fun idea. I am adding you to my stalking list!! :) Jami
