Wednesday October 14

Back into the swing of things with school and stuff.

Port had some meltdowns today.

Anxiety and worry with all the stuff he needs to do to make up the last couple days.

Makes me sad.

He gets very hard to deal with!

After Elsie's math class, we went on a 2 Mile bike ride with Vern 

We stopped by to see bubble too.

She just had her knee replaced on Monday and she is doing amazing!!!

She is a rock star!

The boys cleaned the guns today.

Did laundry etc.

After dinner, we got in the hot tub. 

Then I did my Inktober.

I am loving that I am doing some drawing *almost* daily!

Makes me happy ❤️

Cassi played in the varsity game tonight.

It ended in a tie, but since it is playoffs, they did a kick off.

5 girls getting each team kick and the one who gets the most, wins.

Cassi was the third kicker on her team.

The other team kicked, made it.

Our team kicked, missed.

Other team, made it.

Our team, MISSED!

Other team kicked, they missed.

Then it was Cassi's turn, she made it!!!

Woo hoo!

Then other team kicked and missed.

Avery kicked and made it.

Their last kicker missed, so we won without having to have our last kicker!

Coolio!

Friday October 9

Gym, school and bike rides today.

After lunch, and when Port finished with his school work, we went to our friends house to do some little chores around the house.

It's my friend who's husband passed away a few months ago.

The shower had been broken, so Brent fixed it.

Then there were a few other things he helped out with.

She is not one to take reach out for help, so I am SO THANKFUL that she is willing to let us (him) help her out with these little things so she doesn't have to worry about them.

It's a friendship that has been able to blossom that was unable to before.

She is willing to talk with me

I'm just grateful ❤️

Then Dad went and picked up a trailer from a ward member who is loaning it to us so we can take Madi and Logan all their stuff.

We loaded a few big things.

Then we are dinner.

And then the boys were off on their hunting adventure.

Porter is so excited.

We are a little sad that tomorrow isn't gonna be great weather..... So they might come back early, but it will still be fun.

They are having a sleepover in the truck tonight 😁

Cassi had rugby games tomorrow and I'm gonna try and get most everyone else loaded in the trailer.

Today's Inktober prompt was 'throw'.

I'm not really liking my drawings the last few days ... Oh well.

At least I'm drawing and that's the point of me doing it, to get myself to draw more.

Madi's was cute..... And gross.

She is throwing up.

Mine is a rock being skipped (thrown).

 

Thursday October 8

Had a great day at the gym 😊

I'm loving this small groups personal training.

It's been really fun!

And I can actually lift a lot 😁

The kids worked hard on schoolwork.

I had a meeting for my new calling.

Then I had to go to the dentist 🤪

It actually wasn't too bad, and I even got to sit in the massage chair while my crown got made!!!!

It was so nice!!!!!!

Port had a blast welding with dad.

And doing all the other farm chores around the place ❤️

Madi and I had the art prompt 'teeth' today..... So funny that it was the day I went to the dentist!!!

Then Dad and I went and watched Cassi in her rugby games.

She did so good!

It was very fun to watch.

 

Wednesday October 7

This evening the kids had YM/YW and I very much needed just the quiet time here!

School is gonna be the death of me!

Well, I mean the constant trying to figure out what the kids are supposed to be doing is gonna kill be!!!!

Why is it so confusing what the assignments are and where to find them and what is due when?????

It's all so frustrating!

I have definitely had a headache all day!

Hopefully a few extra hours of sleep tonight will be helpful.....

I started my ink drawing of a doily and I really don't like it......

But I live Madi's drawing!

I need to give myself more time to work on it earlier in the day!!!

Funny thing, tomorrow's prompt is teeth and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow!

Tuesday October 6

Another regular day today.

I had my small group personal training today.

Cassi helped out with Elsie for school, so that was good.

Cassi got a job at subway and started her training today.

She will be great.

She also played a little in the varsity game tonight, so I went and watched her.

The prompt for today's Inktober was 'rodent' and I felt very uninspired!!!!

But, 2020 is the year of the rat, so I drew a quick little rat.

But I love what Madi cans up with!

After the rugby game, I got in the hot tub with Elsie and Porter while Cassi did homework.

 

Monday October 5

We got a lot done with school today.....

Getting into a better routine, finally.

Hopefully it will stick!

Madi and my Inktober prompt today was 'blade' and we both used blades of grass 😊

Dad and Porter went shooting this afternoon/evening.

I did the grocery shopping... Overall, but a regular old day 😂
