Wednesday March 31

It was a little crazy today.

We got school done in good time though.

I felt a lot of stress today.....I had a follow-up to my mammogram.

I knew everything was okay, but it was still stressful.

Kind of the same issue I had with benign cysts back before Porter was born.

They just want me to go back and reevaluate in 6 months.

But just having ask that in the back of my mind made it kind of a crazy day I guess.

Reissue had been reading her scriptures with Madi, they facetime each other.

It's the sweetest.

She is so reading books daily with Emmy too!

I need to make a list of ALL THE BOOKS they have read together!!!

Porter and Dad had a fun project for deacons tonight.

A couple weeks ago, they planned peas.

Today they made planet boxes for them.

They turned out really cool looking and I think the boys had a really fun time!

 

Tuesday March 30

 We went for a hike this morning to camel's back 

It was a fun time.

Not so fun was trying to get the kids to do school AFTER the hike 🤪

But we did school.

I went and lifted with Stacia later on.

Cass starts her new school online, so that's fun too.

I got my easter art print from Madi.

I love it!

Monday March 29

Nine baby chicks so far.

So fun.

Port is loving them, playing with them and checking on them all the time.

Elsie finished her art for the self portrait prompt.

I printed a contour of her picture and she Elsieized it 😏

Turned out pretty cute.

We got school done today.

We are planning to start doing hikes in Mondays, but today was pretty cold and windy, so we will try tomorrow.

We had crazy winds blowing all night last night!!!!

I'm surprised all the trees weren't blown down!!!!

I made sourdough pizza for dinner and the kids all liked it.

Call got the cutest gift from her cute little friend Reagan that she nannies.

It's a bunny from build-a-bear with the cutest little message that she recorded.

I need to get a picture of Cassi be with it.

It's just precious ❤️

 

Sunday March 28

It was a nice Sunday today.

Dad conducted and it was fast Sunday, so we got to hear his testimony.

I need to record it while it is still on YouTube!

Port spent a considerable amount of time with his animals.

It's the cutest thing.

It's his happy spot.

We had the Leavitts over for a nice steak dinner.

We are so grateful to have them in our lives.

 

Saturday March 27

Today is Madi and Logan's one year anniversary.

I can't believe all that has happened in the last year!

It's all very exciting!

So happy they found each other ❤️

We cleaned the church this morning.

I ran from the church and got my miles in.

It was a little cold, but not too bad.

I'm excited to get back into it as the weather gets better....I was quite slow 😂😂😂

The rest of the day was spent trimming the apple trees!

I got them all done, now I need to do the pear trees.

My shoulders are gonna be really sore tomorrow!!!

Dad and porter worked on getting stuff ready for the deacon activity coming up this week.

They also burgers a bunch of branches and leaves.

There are a lot more branches to burn after training the apple trees 😂

Dad and I went on a date tonight 

We got costa vida and then got waffle luv for dessert. 

 

Friday March 26

Honey had her baby bunnies!

She had 6.

So that's fun.

And wwe have 5 baby chicks so far.

One didn't make it ☹️

We watched him for a bit and he want making progress.

He started pecking at the top of the egg instead of the top/side. 

And he kept pecking in only one spot.

So we peeled a little shell back and could tell the membrane had dried to his head, so he couldn't move around to break the shell.

We tried every few hours to break a little more shell for him...but he didn't make it.

Sad.

Port's dicks have laid eggs too!!!!

He's letting her hatch them herself, so that will be fun too.

So many babies happening right now!!!!

We did school today, after several days off.

So it wasn't great and it didn't go very smooth....

As our science, we are taking about the plant kingdom, so what better way then to get our garden starts ready!?!?!

I'm excited about it!

Like little baby greenhouses!

I went for a late afternoon run.

It was kind of windy, so it was even harder 😂😂😂

But still, good to get out!

Msi and Logan went to Cannon beach for this weekend for their anniversary.

I can't believe they have been married a year tomorrow!!!!

That just flew by!!!!

 

Thursday March 25

Today was a busy run around day.

I woke up at 5, so I could get a workout in sometime today.

I had my mammogram appointment early today.

Then Elsie had an appointment to get fitted for another foot brace.

This time they might bring it up higher on the leg for some better support.

We will see if Katie agrees with that.

We will talk with her on Monday.

Elsie had her online class once she has her lunch.

And then she went to Carley's house for the rest of the afternoon.

I went grocery shopping.

Dad and Porter worked on cleaning the shop.

There are three chicks fully hatched.

Two more have started.

It's pretty exciting!!!!

Porter also got a calligraphy set and he is having a lot of fun working on that.

Hopefully he will stay excited about it and practice practice practice.

He says I'm taking the fun out of it when I tell him how to do it correctly.

Oh that kid.....he is so stubborn and does not like to be told what to do!

 

Wednesday March 24

Port and the boys played outside the entire day!!!

It was heaven for Port!!!

They didn't a lot of time with the teenager chicks, making them little houses.

Cute little farmer boys ❤️❤️❤️

We got some chicks hatching!!!

So fun!

One is out at far.

Hopefully they keep on hatching 🤞🏻

I WAS going to do school today.

But man.... It seems like this week is getting filled up with appointments!!!

I took Cassi to her well check dr appt.

Then I had a dentist appointment.

Tomorrow, Elsie has a foot appointment.

I'm excited to get her some new braces so we can get her some new shoes!!!!

Anyway....I have an early morning.

It will be good to have dad home!!!

 

Tuesday March 23

 It was kinda a bummer day today.

I guess it usually kind of it when you get home from vacation.

We didn't do school, giving them a little break.

It was so good outside... So I didn't do any pruning.

I think we will get to that this weekend.

Cassi and Porter took Mater fort a hike in the evening.

And I had the ARP meeting 

It was a great meeting talking about turnout or will love to God.

Having the confidence in His plan.

Man, why is that so hard???????

Why do we think that we have the best idea of what we need?

Why do we fight what the Lord wants to bring into our lives????

We have been having so much fun with Madi and Logan in Oregon.

It started with a pullover on the side of the road to find Cassi's phone when she dropped it, then couldn't find it.

😂😂

We are staying a gun Airbnb in sun river valley and it has been so great to be together.

Dad and Cassi made a yummy dinner last night.

We waited for Logan to get there from work.

We played games and chilled.

There were a few hot tubbers

This morning, we had breakfast.

Some people got in the hot tub.

Then we set off on an adventure spelunking 😏

It was pretty cool.

Port was nervous, but pushed through and went deep in the cave with dad and Logan.

But then he was ready to get out!

We went back to the Airbnb for lunch.

Then we headed to the ice skating rink.

We had half who wanted to skate and half that didn't want to.

It was a fun time for everyone.

Wwe walked around the shops there afterwards.

Back to the Airbnb to get earn and cleaned up for dinner.

More games were played, chess and yahtzee.

We went to dinner you a really fun spot called The Lot.

They have a heated outdoor seating area and then it's lined with yummy food trucks.

It was a really fun atmosphere.

We ended the night with watching Rays in the movie theatre.

Oh man, it was a good one!

Loving all this time together ❤️
